Good hatch, not great for electrical cord

The hatch is well made and easy to install. It is not quite complete for electrical use. The hatch it replaced had a 'door' on the bottom that swung open to let the electrical cord through. Luckly the door on the old one was still usable so I cut a hole in the bottom of the new one. At the same time I changed the lock on the new one with the old lock so that I would not have to carry an extra key. All worked out in the end, and as I enjoy solving problems I spent a happy hour or two on it.
