At RV Parts to Go (“Parts to Go”), we aim to maintain the accuracy, confidentiality and security of your information. We have developed this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) to inform you of the measures we take to protect your personal information and the ways in which we collect, use, disclose, and retain this information in order to provide you with our services. This Policy is subject to, and consistent with, applicable Canadian law.

When you visit or make a purchase from www.rvpartstogo.com, use our platform or use any other products and services (collectively, the “Services”), or any time you interact with Parts to Go, you agree to the terms of this Policy as updated from time to time as well as any other terms of the Services. We encourage you to periodically review our Policy. The Services are not intended for use by children and should only be accessed by individuals who are at least 18 years old and are using the Services.

Parts to Go may be the data controller of your personal information as described in this Policy. This Policy applies solely to the Services provided by Parts to Go, and not to the extent we process personal information on behalf of our corporate customers. Parts to Go is not responsible for the privacy or data security practices of our customers, which may differ from those set forth in this Policy. If your personal information has been submitted to us by or on behalf of a Parts to Go customer and you wish to exercise any rights you may have under applicable privacy laws, please contact the applicable customer directly. 

 

What Personal INFORMATION Do We Collect?

Information You Provide to Us

Certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to your name, billing address, shipping address, phone number, email, and any other information you choose to provide may be collected from you when you contact us, use the Services, fill out a survey, or provide feedback. 

User information may be collected when you use or purchase our Services. The user information we collect varies depending on the Services you purchase or use, and it may include, but is not limited to, information regarding your financial records, customer information, social media accounts, etc. 

Information Automatically Collected When You Use the Services

Our web server may collect information known as “Log Files” related to your visit to our website, including: the IP address and domain used to access our website; the type and version of your browser; the website you came from to access our website; the page you entered and exited at; any website page that is viewed by that IP address; and what country you are from. 

Transactional information is collected for clients that purchase products through our Services. This includes information about the transaction, such as purchase details, purchase price, and date and location of the transaction. Payment and credit card information is collected through integrated Visa Mastercard and PayPal platforms. 

We also use cookies, which are described below in this Policy. 

Integrations with Other Services

Parts to Go does not provide the customer an option to integrate the Services with other third-party services, technologies, or platforms on your desktop, permitted websites and/or your mobile phone. 

 

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

The information we collect is used to provide, maintain, and improve our Services. Examples of ways we use your personal information include: 

• Providing and delivering the Services you request from us;
• Contact you to respond to questions, comments, or requests you send to us;
• Verifying accounts and activity, investigate suspicious activity and enforce our terms and policies to promote the security of our Services;
• Provide you with the necessary functionality you need to use any of the Services;
• Manage your user account with us;
• Process payments for Services we provide and deliver to you;
• Monitor our website and develop our Services;
• Identify new potential customer opportunities; 
• Send you marketing communications, and evaluate the effectiveness of those marketing communications;
• Analyze usage information, your feedback, support queries, and survey responses to help us understand and make improvements to the Services; and
• Send relevant shipping information to Keystone Automotive Operations Inc., a drop-shipping distributor, in order to process shipments. Any personal information transmitted to Keystone will be subject to the policies and procedures of that Keystone and not Parts to Go.

We only retain your personal information for the period of time required to use the information for the purposes described above. We delete all your personal information after this period of time has elapsed. If we are unable to delete your personal information from our systems due to technical reasons, we will enact appropriate measures to ensure that your personal information is not further used. 

 

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Our Services do not address children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 18. In the case we discover that a child under the age of 18 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. How Do We Use Cookies?

Parts to Go is not responsible for how such third parties collect, use or disclose your information.

Within the company, we limit access to personal information to those who need it to perform their jobs. Your personal information may be shared with our employees, contractors, consultants, affiliates and other third parties who require such information to assist us with providing our Services to you. Individuals who are permitted to handle your personal information must adhere to confidentiality obligations. In addition, personal information may be disclosed or transferred to another party in the event of a change in ownership of, or a grant of a security interest in, all or a part of Parts to Go. We may collect, use or disclose your personal information without your knowledge or consent where we are required by applicable law or regulatory requirements to do so. 

Under this Policy, Parts to Go, Verta Marketing and their affiliates are not responsible in any manner for direct, indirect, special or consequential damages, however caused, arising out of sharing your personal information in the manner described above.

Any changes made to this Policy are effective immediately after they are posted on our website.

We will respond within 30 days and we may charge a small fee for this. This fee will not be charged automatically and we will notify any customer of the fee prior to such information requests being fulfilled.
